Laboratory

Caring for animals can be tougher than caring for humans.  After all, human patients can tell you exactly what hurts, or what doesn't feel good.  However, pets can't tell us exactly what's wrong.  That's why we have a laboratory that is full of state-of-the-art equipment.  Our on-facility laboratory can diagnose many injuries and illnesses.

Having an on-site laboratory is crucial to what we do.  Since we are not open during regular business hours, we cannot wait around for other labs to open.  When you bring a pet to us – whether it's the middle of the night or the middle of the weekend – we need a way to determine exactly what the problem is.  That's where our laboratory comes into play.

Whether your pet needs to be initially diagnosed when he first arrives, or needs pre-surgical blood work, we can do it all right here on-site.  That way, your pet does not have to go anywhere else; he does not have to be transported anywhere while he is feeling sick or injured. 

In addition to making things easier and more comfortable for your pet, our full on-site laboratory enables us to provide faster treatment.  Our expert veterinarians and technicians know how to run a variety of tests and lab work, and how to interpret the results.  We can run tests and get the results instantly – instead of waiting for a separate lab to process the information.  Having all of these diagnostic tools available at our fingertips allows us to get your pet healthier, quicker – no matter what time it is.
